This function returns a defined part of the string. This function works when the string is divided in parts with a character as s separator. You can define the part of the string that you want as the outcome. If there is no phrase at the indicated part, this function will return an empty value (Null).
This function is commonly used to split a category path into category levels.
Variable 1: The input field you would like to divide. Value type: Text
Variable 2: The character that divides the parts of the string. Value type: Text.
Variable 3: The part of the string you would like as the outcome. It counts from left to right.
1=first part (before the first divider), 2=second part (after the first divider) etc.
Input: [Category path]
Example variable: ‘Sound&vision>vision>television’
Mapping: Stringphrase([Category path],'>',1)
Output: Example variable: ‘Sound&vision’
